COOKIE BOMB

I’ve been living in inner city apartments for years. While I appreciate and support dense living in our urban environments, I find that it can sometimes be hard to create community in these close living quarters. In an effort to combat this, I baked hundreds of cookies and wrapped them up into packages for my new neighbours, leaving a small love note on the “cookie bomb” as an introduction. I received incredibly positive responses from a number of them, being invited over for wine or dinners, and reinforcing my notion that others felt the same as me - they desired more connection with the neighbours they saw each day in the halls and elevators, but needed a little something sweet to break the ice.
